Biography
He has worked as assistant professor in the prestigious KEM Hospital Mumbai. He has done his studies in Indore, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Delhi and Mumbai. He is presently doing maximum number of gender reassignment surgeries in this region.
He has opened on individuals of many countries including USA, UK, Germany, UAE and many Asian Countries. He has authored over 18 papers in international peer reviewed journals. Presented many papers and lectures in many plastic surgical conferences. He has worked extremely on formulating standards for describing various landmarks in facial cosmetic surgery. His work on anthropometry and describing standards for plastic surgery in Indian subject has been widely appreciated and recognized. He has credit of doing first gender reassignment surgery in central India.
He then traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to complete a Fellowship in Intervention Cardiology at Hahnemann Hospital in conjunction with Drexel University, where he received extensive training in coronary as well as peripheral interventions and limb salvage procedures. He actively participates in clinical research trials and has been published in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of the State Medical Society and Baylor University Medical Center’s Proceedings.
In his spare time, watches college and professional football and enjoys traveling, swimming and playing chess. He is currently Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He moved to California where he completed both his Internship (’85-’86) and Residency (’87-’89) at the University of California.
