Dr. Sadhana Mehta is a recognized doctor in the medical fraternity today. She holds this recognition for her immaculate expertise in treating Infertility and Gynec problems and providing Laparoscopic solutions to women. Her prolonged dedication to the profession has earned her a respected position all over the country.
Being the child of a Jailer father and a School Teacher mother, Dr. Sadhana was raised in a disciplined environment. Discipline learned in the early age helped her in staying focused on studies and secure good grades. Along with studies, she also helped her family in the everyday chores. Her hard work in studies paid off well when she got admission in the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College of Indore. The path ahead was full of new challenges, but Dr. Sadhna faced every challenge valiantly because she had a learning attitude and was committed to her objective. Studying MBBS in English was tough initially, because she studied in a Hindi medium school. But she pushed her limits and enhanced her linguistic proficiency in English.
Further, she went to secure MS with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and after working with a few maternity homes, established her own hospital with the name Arpit Maternity in 1993. The nursing home’s success speaks of her hard work, wholehearted attention and honest effort in the service mankind. Dr. Sadhana has keen interest in the advancements in medical science. She stays abreast with them and keeps adds sophistication to her hospital as well.
Dr. Sadhana has a rare feat of treating more than 2500 infertility patients to her name. This feat has earned her a place in the Limca Book of Records and it is an unusual achievement for any doctor. She is an active Yoga practitioner, avid reader and loves spending time with family. A mother of three, she capably strikes a balance between her responsibilities – as a doctor and a mother!
Today, as the Director of Arpit Multispeciality Hospital, she is the source of happiness for many ailing patients and as well is an inspiration for many budding doctors.
